Welcome to the online home of American Legion Post 271 of Paynesville, MN. We are proud to be part of America's largest wartime service organization, which is dedicated to helping fellow veterans and service members, their families, and the community we call home. Our post remains viable thanks to members who choose to actively serve our country at a local level; these patriots volunteer hundreds of hours to our organization. We invite you to join us as we celebrate patriotism and model morality and citizenship in all of our endeavors.

Bingo games 2 nights a week with an all volunteer staff. American Legion Post 23, in conjunction with the Good Deeds Club, KDVA, CBOC, and the VFW are helping the homeless veterans find and move into apartments. We have been involved with placing several men, women, and families in a safe, warm facility that they can call home.
